Northampton Town Centre exciting regeneration news
Considering our latest development is located in Northampton, it’s always exciting to see regeneration taking place within the town and this latest article was no exception.
Northampton’s Market Square is getting a new look which will see new residential developments, a new arts centre and extended leisure facilities benefitting the historical square that dates back to 1835. This is very exciting news for Northamptonians and future homeowners of The Barker Buildings.
We love to see ambitious regeneration projects in areas we care about, and are thrilled to see that £25 million has already been granted towards this wonderful initiative.
Jo Gordon, chief executive of the Royal & Derngate and Northampton Forward board member said: “This money will breathe life into a range of very exciting projects, including some heavy investment into our blossoming Cultural Quarter, and will be the catalyst for a huge amount of private sector investment in the town.”
We can’t wait to see the future of Northampton Town Centre. Shout out to the impressive team behind the venture, including Tricker’s Shoes and Royal & Derngate. You can read the full article on the BBC News website here.
